Applications
Thymol USP is a constituent of oil of thyme, a naturally occurring mixture of compounds in the plant Thymus vulgaris L., or thyme. Thymol USP is mainly used as an antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic agent in pharmaceutical preparations. It is also used as a feed additive in various animals feed, and as a stabilizer.
