Sodium Xylene Sulfonate is utilized as an anionic surfactant in liquid household detergents and hair care products. It is employed in shampoos, degreasers, wax strippers, glue additive in the leather industry and printing pastes for the textile applications. In the paper industry, is used to extract lignin and pentosans.
