Sodium Gluconate Food Grade is used in a variety of applications in the cosmetics food industry. It is used as a chelating agent and preservative in the food industry. It is used as a pH buffer for drinks and as a stabilizer in meats. It can be used as an excipient as a buffer and pH adjuster in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industry. Sodium gluconate functions as a chelating and skin conditioning in cosmetic and personal care products. It can also be used in industrial applications like as a chelating agent in water treatment, in bottle washing, corrosion inhibitor, metal surface treatment and industrial cleaning.
