Sodium Bisulfite Anhydrous FCC is used as a catalyst, reducing agent, and preservative in pharmaceuticals, as a reducing agent in sulfites to sulfates conversion, as a food preservative in the food industry, a bleach for wool for the textile industry, as a reducer in laundry, a antiseptic in fermentation and an additive for copper and brass plating. It is used in brewing barrels, dyeing vats, and paper production and, in fixing baths for photography. Its used in cosmetics as a reducing agent in hair waving and straightening hair products.
