D-Limonene Food Grade, a refined solvent with a distinct citrus odor, is a versatile and powerful product derived from citrus peels. D-Limonene is used as a solvent and fragrance additive in cleaning products such as soaps and laundry detergents ,personal care products like shampoos, lotions, perfumes, cosmetics ,air fresheners, aromatic oils, insect repellant and pharmaceuticals. It also has industrial applications, for example, as a solvent in degreasing metals prior to industrial painting and in paints, for cleaning in the electronic the electronic and printing industries. It is used in the manufacturing of resins, as a wetting and dispersing agent, and in insect control. Its also used in food and beverages, d-Limonene has been used in non-alcoholic beverages, ice cream and ices, sweets, baked goods, gelatins and puddings, and chewing gum.
