Citric Acid Anhydrous FCC USP is found naturally in many citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, and tangerines. Citric Acid Anhydrous FCC USP is most commonly found as an additive in many foods, beverages, and snacks. It can be used as a flavoring agent and preservative in a variety of foods like fruit juices, soft drinks, energy drinks, sports drinks, jams , jellies, salad dressings and marinades, baked goods, yogurts , just to name a few. In Personal Care & Cosmetics, Citric Acid FCC USP commonly used due to its ability to regulate pH, exfoliate, and its antioxidant properties. It’s used in shampoos, conditioners, body washes, soaps, face washes and scrubs, moisturizers and serums, sunscreens, bath bombs and anti aging creams. It can also be used as a preservative in animal feed and as a pH reducer in fertilizer. It is also used in chemical cleaning, concrete admixtures, plasticizers, and a range of other applications. Citric Acid Anhydrous FCC USP can also be used as a chelating agent.
Citric Acid 50% Solution is a water treatment chemical used as pH control and for the removal of iron and other elements from fouled water softeners. Removes hard water built up, scale and lime. Citric Acid 50% Solution is used as a preservative, acidifier, chelator, and flavoring in various sections of the food and beverage industry.
