Applications
Ferrous Gluconate Dihydrate USP also know as Iron(II) Gluconate Hydrate is a compound that has acidic properties. It is produced by the dehydration of iron gluconate and is used in many different applications, such as photoelectron spectroscopy, magnetometry, and dispersive analysis. Ferrous Gluconate Dihydrate USP can also be used to produce coagulated blood samples, which are then analyzed using infrared spectrometry or microscopy. Ferrous Gluconate Dihydrate USP is also used as an iron supplement and food additive in the food and pharmaceutical industries. It is also used as a nutrient source for microorganisms in fermentation processes and as a laboratory chemical for research and development.
